Author: Constantine Cavarnos
Two lectures are presented in this volume. They deal with the same general subject, the Hellenic Heritage, viewed from the same standpoint. Their aim is to give, as far as possible in brief compass, a series of significant glimpses of the long, rich, and uninterrupted Greek cultural tradition from Antiquity to the present. They focus on the fine arts, language, literature, science, philosophy, and religion. This book may be viewed as a sequel to a shorter work of more limited scope by Dr. Cavarnos, entitled Cultural and Educational Continuity of Greece.
