Our Wholesale Program Is Being Replaced With Universal Bulk Discounts

After reviewing how are wholesale program was used and receiving feedback from customers, we are discontinuing our wholesale program for churches and replacing it with bulk pricing for all customers. The new program applies an automatic, immediate discount when ordering any candle box or larger quantities of eligible books and church supplies. This will simplify the ordering process, add transparency to our pricing, and eliminate repeated technical errors of discounts not being applied properly.

We are also eliminating our discount program for all clergy and monastics. This allows us to maintain lower pricing for all customers, such as laymen who support the monastery online and also pilgrims who visit the monastery. We have taken this step to keep our prices among the lowest for our growing selection of Orthodox books and church supplies.

When will these changes be implemented?

The bulk pricing program and increased candle prices will take place on February 25, 2025. Until that date, all purchases by wholesale customers will be done under the existing wholesale program and pricing.

What does bulk pricing mean for candle purchases?

We have completely eliminated retail pricing for all our candle boxes. On February 25, the new price on the website will be the automatic discounted bulk rate. A wholesale application is no longer needed to earn this discounted rate on any candle box purchase.

How do we know what is the bulk discount on individual products (e.g. books and church supplies)?

It will clearly appear on the product page. Once you order the bulk quantity indicated, you will automatically receive the discount.

For example, you may receive a 5% discount if you order 3 quantities of an eligible candle holder, and 7.5% if you order 5. With some quantities, discounts will be higher than in the outgoing wholesale program, leading to greater overall savings. For candle boxes, you only need to order one box to receive the bulk rate.

We’re not paying sales tax on our purchases. Are they still tax-free?

Yes. You do not need to take any action to ensure future orders do not get charged tax.
