It came as described. Very good quality and good shipping/services. Amazing book. Actually the best thing I've bought
It's amazing, helps me keep a great prayer rule, and the prayers feel so deep. Also love the 12 feasts and Canon of Repentance + Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
Some prayers have been changed since the last revision that I wish were kept the same. None the less its an outstanding prayer book.
The book is very beautiful and full of many prayers.
Great customer service. The first one I ordered arrived damaged with pages upside down. When I reached out they sent me another one without issue.
Wonderful morning and evening prayers, canons, and Communion prayers. Highly recommend.
This is an excellent book for the laity. Clergy won't use the Divine Liturgy portion of this book, because it's missing their prayers, but they will appreciate the morning/evening prayers.
I am a little disappointed that these are printed in Turkey.
They are great! I just wish they were still printed in Jordanville instead of in Turkey.
High quality prayer book. In my circles, it’s the standard prayer book. It’s bound with red leather with gold embellishments and it has a serene, highly readable black typeface decorated with icons. It has morning and night prayers from the Holy Fathers which encourage one to pray for God’s mercy with importunity. “I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Lk 11:8-10)
The best Orthodox prayer book. Large font and easy to read; durable and high quality material; and the most solid translation.
I love the prayer book.
Great book and a staple for any Orthodox Christian. However, we wanted to point out a typo on page 41 of the 2024 printing. One page 41 the phrase "all are the works of the Thy hands" appears to be a typography error.
My favorite English language prayer book. It's a beautiful book with beautiful prayers, and an excellent invitation to pray.
A great prayer book. The text is easy to read and I like the hard cover on the front and back. Also like it has both Morning Prayers and Evening Prayers, rather than Compline as the evening prayer. The morning/evening prayers are also not shortened like I've seen in other prayer books.
