A long-awaited resource for those among the laity who wish to read along with the divine services. This volume contains the complete texts of Vespers, the liturgies of St. John Chrysostom and St. Basil the Great, and the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts. These texts mirror those contained in the priest's services books: the Hieratikon, volumes I & II.
An introduction is included which discusses the participation of the faithful in worship, excellent for inquirers. Also contained are pre- and post-communion prayers and hymns for the liturgical year.
Approximate Dimensions are 4"x 6.25"

Excellent value; vespers, matins, and 3 liturgies in one book. With a small vocabulary of 10-20 church slavonic terms you can follow along quite easily using this book. I have tried a few books, some bilingual, but this one is the best in my opinion and it has multiple services. I am very happy with it. There are 3 ribbon bookmarks. The writing may be small for older eyes, but it does make for less page flipping. It is small and compact. Great for laity in a parish with non-english services.
