Lampada Wick (Jordanville Candles)

The wick is excellent!
If it’s too thick for someone, just cut it into shorter pieces and pull out a few strands — as many as needed so it can pass through the float.

Let me start by saying I order most of my prayer corner stuff (that I don't get from my parish bookstore) and other things from Holy Trinity Supply and I love everything I've ever gotten. Then I ordered these wicks. I also ordered the 2mm wick holder. First thing I'll say is the wicks here do not fit in the 2mm holder, so they definitely won't in the 4mm option. It may have been a careless mistake on my part and I didn't check the dimensions of the wicks, I just figured since they were the only ones offered, they'd at least fit that and they don't. That's ok, because I have multiple wick holders. The main issue is the wicks are some of the worst I've seen. Once again maybe it's me, and I'm doing something wrong (don't see how bevause I went to our local hobby lobby store and bought thicker wicks and they burn for a fairly long time, these would maybe last 3-5 minutes before they go out. Like I said, maybe I did something wrong and put to much oil on the ends of the wicks I tried from the strand, which I doubt cuz I did one drenched, one with just a touch and one with none on it and that one lasted the longest. I'm currently testing the ones I just bought at the local store, and it's been going strongly so far for 15 minutes so far no sign of going out and it fit in the 2mm holder. Now the vigil glass and holder I received are very nice, just these wicks aren't the ones you want

The wick bundle is good quality, just way to thin for the float or wick holder bar I use. Could it be you have such an item but I got the wrong one? Otherwise very happy I grabbed a Gospel Commentary which is not sold out. Thanks

It was so many problems with lampada wick what I bought from my church all the time, them finally I decided place this order and find yhis items from your place and miracle happen- now i have peace in my home, nice quiet flame in lampada without fireworks like it was before, what makes my nervous or siting in darkness.
